Mi4i: Don't ever think to buy this cheap chinese phone. Their devices as well as their service centre and customer support is the worst in the world. I got this on 22/Oct/15 from Amazon, and within first 15 days I started experiencing heavy call drop problem. I contacted Xiaomi for replacement but they denied and asked me to submit my handset to service center. Since I didn't had any other choice I need to submit it to service center, they returned it back to me after 15-20 days after changing its motherboard. When I started my phone again and inserted SIM card in both SIM1 and SIM2 slots, there was no network at all, I need to revisit service center again and they said its motherboard needs to be replaced again. They have again repalced the same and gave it back to me. I felt some sound coming out of the handset now, I revisited service center again and asked them to open in front of me, they did and found that 1 screw was missing and they very easily replied that engineer might have missed the screw by mistake but the sound was still there, they said you can get your motherboard replaced once again if not satisfied. When I again tried to insert SIM card into both the SIM slots, still no network.

Can anyone imagine a smartphone without network, you tell me what to do with this cheap mobile now. Beware of this local mobile company, its better to get Freedom 251 rather than this one.

Before 2 days I brought your Red Mi 2 phone but am suffering from one problem if some one call me & am calling to some one, some time voice not going & coming this happens 5-10 times in day. But I doing reboot or switch off mobile then it works ok.

So please do the needful for the same.

I have purchased a Mi4i phone from flipkart but within the month camera error problem and I have taken Pick me service and it is sent to service center and they have change its motherboard and sent to us.But it is not charging. But when i contacted to pick me services and flipkart for its replacement, they have given me very irresponsible answer and suggested me to take again pick me service, denying replacement of mobile which having major issue of motherboard. Again it seems that they have used faulty motherboard. I request you to provide better replacement policy after major fault otherwise only god can save your business.

I have purchased Xiaomi note 4G on 24 march 2015. Unfortunately my mobile is not working from last one month. I submit the mobile in sector 18 noida. They keep my handset for 1 week. they said motherboard is bend so we cannot repair it & even warranty don't cover motherboard. Then again i contact your customer care. They send person from Gadget wood. They also keep my hand set for 2 weeks. They return my set as it is without any repair. reason of return is same .

Sir still my set in warranty, How my motherboard is bend or got defected i don't know. my set is single handed. I have gone to this mobile because of brand name. Pls help me to get my mobile repaired & kindly change motherboard & other defected parts under warranty. Hope you will do needful to solve this issue.

I have purchased Redmi Note prime on 22nd jan 2016, after the use of mobile,its very heat and speaker problem. i gave the phone to MI service centre nearest Rajajinagar Bangalore , After the service phone is same complaint. i contact to mi customer care they told give the phone to Pick me service. I wrote you that after repair of Mi4i mobile set from Ahmedabad service center by changing mother board. The set is not charging after receiving from service center. Requesting again and again, I am not getting proper solution and response from your end and mobile is lying dead.The mother board failure and not charging after its replacement suggests that the set is faulty.I am very shocked and feel cheated by reputed company like you. This service center is full of fraud....fraud....fraud and the behavior of the team there is so bad. My redmi prime 2 display was not working so i went there to repair because i had warranty of 1 year. they told me liquid problem in my phone. i am warning..never to go in Redmi Service Center Chandigarh Sec 22 C, SCO no 2471-2472.

Dear Xiaomi,

I am writing to you in regards to my Mi 4 mobile (64 GB; IMEI no – 867079020074650)

Since I purchased Mi 4 (64 Gb) mobile from Flipkart – in June of 2015, I have had on going issues with my mobile. I noticed on one day mobile got blank and prompting for reboot then after goes off and after trying several attempt not getting start.

I went to the service center showed my mobile they checked an said its issue with PCB that needs to be change, they tried to changed almost 3 times however not getting success, till the date they are not able to sorted out this issue. I have submitted my phone on 25th Jan 2016 with Jon sheet no –215 (VCT000215) (PFA job sheet).

I am doing continues follow up with Service center Manager Mr.Nitesh Jadhav (9967988854) an he told me that they received faulty PCB twice and one time PCB not getting matched, now they requested to their team to send a correct and right PCB for my mobile.

Going further I asked Nitesh that I want to escalate this to next level because its already pending since a more than a month. He said call to Customer care and log a complaint, I asked him to provide me superior/higher authority contact details who handling the escalations cases and monitoring SLA / quality.

I got Mr. Dhruv contact details –dhruve @xiaomi.com and mobile no-9920555223 I had contacted to Dhruve and tried to communicate regarding my case he gave me a week time period unfortunately he wasn’t helpful and not able to sort this case at his level.

Hence I am writing email to company now. It’s really very very frustrating and pathetic service I am getting from Xiaomi in regards to my mobile for which I have spent around 20,000/- bugs.

I now feel very let down by Xiaomi and am now finding that a mobile I paid around Rs-20,000/- for less than Six months ago is fast becoming completely useless to me because of this issue. As a customer who over the years has bought mobile’s and other products from you I am disappointed with this level of service from both yourselves, your repair center and other sources from whom you distribute your products through.

I would like to know what you are going to do about this situation and what your advice would be to do next? Keeping hope that at least you people notice this and reply with positive feedback.

I bought mi4i 16 gb mobile in last month on 18th, it has an heating effect of 47 degrees and also a battery draining is very fast. i already given this mobile twice to a service center but there are not working properly, still now i am getting heat.

I have purchased RedMi Note3 yesterday. when I insert the Sim and memory card it going to heating much and battery charge losing without using internet and music app something, could you please reply me.

All the customer service people are thieves. i had gone to get my mobile repaired and they are telling me it will need a new motherboard which costs Rs 6700. A new mobile phone can be bought for Rs 8000. Its better to buy Samsung phones.

According to your company promotional offer hard case was available on april 6 on a discount of rs 50 in rs249, but sadly it has been bought to me in rs299. I have received this phone on date 6th sep 2015, this phone many times hanged if other person call me, that is the problem to receive the call, camera is not work many time. I am disturb by your phone. Please, take it back. xiaomi mi4i phone is the worst phone. kindly help me.

I have purchased a Xiaomi Mi-4 handset (IMEI : 865291029569851) White Colour from Flipkart on 04-06-2015 (Order Id : OD002973619608147500) using my alternative e-mail ID rohitrobby07 @gmail.com. While using the phone I was facing a huge problem like malfunctioning and disturbed display as well as huge heating issues. After being frustrated too much with the problems I visited your customer care service centre on 27-02-2016 and reported about the problems, the engineer inspected and tested (C.U.G) and they took over my phone. They have also given me complaint no. (i.e.JS16022700555) and assured me to return back my mobile on or before 8 March, 2016. But on 09 March, 2016 When I called in your service centre they replied me that your phone is not ready yet due to non availability of necessary parts and also tried to distract me and did not give me a satisfactory answer about the actual problems of the phone. Therefore, I again called and talked to the manager of service centre (Rohini Branch) he said that, inadvertently, our engineer bought another part instead of actual one.

On 18.03.2016 they returned me the phone but actually it was not function properly. Being aggrieved by this callous negligent attitude of your service centre I again visited your Rohini Service Centre on 09.04.2016 and they again took over my phone (JS16040901078) with CUG test and assured me that the phone will be returned by 20.04.2016 but still nothing is heard from them. I have made numerous efforts to make contact or enquire about the status but no satisfactory answer is given to me or they do not receive my phone at all and sometimes they put me on hold continuously for long durations. I even tried to contact Mr. Vikas Kumar on Mob:9560604448, initially he assured me to look into the matter but later he avoided/did not even pick up my phone, what to talk about solving the problem?

I bought this phone seeing your brand and popularity, now I am highly disappointed by your service. Do you think I should suffer for anything which I am not responsible? My phone is under guarantee period. I visited several times your service centre followed by several call and mails to your customer service. Really it is very pathetic from your side.

So, it is my humble request to you to kindly resolve my problem and get me rid of this harassment so that I can happily refer your brand name to others. Otherwise, I have no option but to lodge a complaint in Consumer Court, Delhi, against Mi India if my problems are not entertained/resolved within 48 hours. I have purchase Xiaomi Redmi note 3 4G last month. It is not working properly. Suddenly sim signal has been gone and showing no services. Remove the sim and again insert the sim card then on the phone. After some time come the signal comes back. I call in customer care no. But did not get any response.

i anand swami purchased mi4. which is in warranty period. my whatsapp was not working properly i showed to service centre in jodhpur on 18th april, they confirmed me its a software upload problem and said it will b done in 15 minutes. i handover my phone for software upload after 15 min when i asked for phone they replied ur main board is not working so will take 7 days to change ur main board. but till date 9th of may, still they r saying pure india me mi ke parts available nai hai so wait another 10 to 15 days, thats more than a month. from a years warranty when u keep handset more than a month with u how can its possible,and if company dosnt have parts so y u selling phones....or else hand over new handset to customers if u dont have parts.
