The Accu chek new strips not showing correct reading, as it has not chip in the pocket. When put the strips the meter asks code, How make the meter correct?

I am a diabetic ,and was using accu chek countour glucometer in the beginning (bought in Singapore). Although the meter was very accurate and excellent, then I faced a problem of availability of strips in India. So I exchanged the meter to accu chek active about ten years back. Presently, as I became old, getting enough blood for testing is becoming difficult. Hence, can I am exchange it to Accu chek Aviva meter after paying the difference amount. Kindly reply.

I have installed a new battery but the machine is still not working.

I have purchased Accu-Check Active test strips (10 No's) on 9/6/21 at Tulasi Pharmacy, Ayanavaram Branch, Chennai-600 023. The code No. of the test strips provided is 333. No test chip is provided in the pack without which I am unable to check my blood sugar levels. I have been using this device since 10 years. When ever I purchased test strips one test chip was provided in the pack. Since the old test chip could not be used for the new test strips I have discarded the old test chip.
