I traveled to Srinagar and our return flight was scheduled for 7th June evening but due to technical snag, the flight could not take off. At the time of de-boarding, there was complete chaos because of no response from the airlines. the passengers were shouting and pleading for the arrangements to be made by the airlines.

I, Kusum Jain, along with my daughter, Surabhi Agarwal, had to travel from Hongkong to Lucknow for which we had three connecting flights, two flights of Air Asia on 16 September 2018, flight no. AK135 from Hongkong to Kuala lumpur and flight no. AK69 from Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad and one flight of Indigo on 17 September 2018, flight no. 6E732 from Hyderabad to Lucknow. Our booking reference ID for Air Asia flight was KLC9TV and for Indigo flight was GBR4NC. Our first Air Asia flight from Hongkong to Kuala lumpur got cancelled due to Mangkhut Typhoon in Hongkong because of which we were unable to take the subsequent flights. The Air Asia is refunding us the full amount of the flight.. It is a humble request to kindly consider us for full refund of the flight tickets for indigo flight from Hyderabad to Lucknow as it was due to a natural calamity and was not our fault. I am attaching herewith our flight tickets and photo of Air Asia - flight cancellation email.

Thanks and Regards,

Sir,i had a bad experience with The people at the check in counter today as I was late for 13 mins. When I request them to please do me a favour to pass through check in So that I won't miss my flight as my flight is still there but they just deny me that I am already late and they can't do anything. But as per my knowledge the flight is still there Cos my flight is suppose to take off at 11am and I was at counter at 10:27 am.Ofcourse I couldn't turn up before 45 mins but when the passenger is in emergency atleast they could have shown sympathy. Well I think il never have to choose with indigo airline again.

Today m making this Complaint not just because of today's incident but it's been happening numerous time those bad experiences.

Dear sir,

My flight was on 17th dec 18 from INDIGO from DELHI - CHENNAI - COCHIN but as i reached cochin my baggage was misplaced and after lot of confusion indigo staff confirmed me that they will deliver my bag to the hotel you were in.

And raised PIR with no reference number was written on it... Same i complaint on customer care team also.
One day staff was in touch with me but from last few days they are not responding too my calls anymore.
I asked Miss DHANYA to meet her manager so that i can ask few things so that i can satisfy myself but her behaviour was very rude as she refused that you cant meet him and i am looking for such matters and she was taking matter very normally.

Last conversation from INDIGO was that if we are unable to trace your baggage in 7 days we will pay you 20USD per KG but as i confirmed same from customer care team they are saying that its FALSE statement.
My baggage cost is above 50000 and i dont want any value, just trace my baggage and return it.... Due to this my trip is also ruined of 7 days in kerala which alone cost is 50k who will take that responsibility.

Details....
1) PNR NUMBER - VCHVJF
2) PIR - NO REFERENCE NUMBER WAS GIVEN.
3) VIP BRAND BAGGAGE WITH COMBINATION LOCK AND SILVER LOCK ON FRONT CHANGE.

Please look into the matter seriously as staff from COCHIN is not responding properly and revert back.

One more thing....

Dear indigo team,

Please find the attached copy - No reference number written on PIR report by MISS DHANYA and on top after asking her trice that i want to meet your manager to clarify my query, she directly denied that they are busy and you cant meet them and i am looking for all such activities, you can go and we will deliver your luggage to your given address by 5.am in morning.

She was very rude and its not the correct attitude to deal to your customer.

I myself is dealing with customer in my professional life but such attitude can bring your image down in industries. That girl really need counselling from your end of customer dealing.
Thank-you

Dear Sir/Madam,
My itinerary on 22nd Dec 2018 was from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad Via Chennai.

My flight from Bhubaneswar to Chennai on 22nd dec was departed at 13:20 PM noon instead of 12:00 PM (Flight No- 6E182 Indigo). Due to this delay have missed my second flight from Chennai to Hyderabad at 16:05 PM (Flight No - 6E 302) and got into next possible flight at 17:15 (flight no -6E 3173). At that time when asked to indigo agents they told that, your baggage will be available at Hyderabad baggage counter no need to worry. But when I reached at Hyderabad and inquired about my baggage(Red color Safari Bag wheel) they told that Chennai people didn't record for that bag. After that have tried multiple times to reach Chennai agents but they didn't pickup.

My very next flight was from Hyderabad to Dubai at 20:00 PM so needfully I went to catch that flight.
They gave me two numbers to contact -
Chennai - 09318353585, Hyderabad - 04066604696
After that incident am totally devastated and need my bag urgently.
Kindly send the bag to this below address -

I was carrying a glass item so while checked in I requested to take extra care and they marked it as fragile, sadly when I received the same in Kolkata it was fully broken. Please find attached the screen shot for your reference.

Now tell we what is the solution for this?

I need some help in what we booked with name is my husband's surname but i have my aadhar id proof of my fathers name.. When i booked with karennagari Sudha latha. plz use me as Mopuri Ramasudha..tq

Had a horrible experience aboard Indigo airline while flying from Jaipur to Kolkata last week. I was on-board Indigo 6E-237 and half-an-hour before landing in Kolkata smoke started filling the cabin. This smoke was coming from AC vents and everyone aboard the flight was terrified as this drama unfolded mid-air ruling out any possibility to land any time soon. Everyone was afraid whether the flight would or wouldn't land. It almost felt as if we were sitting in the middle of a pyre of burning plastic and metal. That smoke was so horrible that babies started crying and passengers started murmuring and started throwing nervous glances at each other. Panic was written all over everyone’s face.

As the flight landed, I asked a flight attendant to help me get out of the flight but it seems that the crew on board froze. I beg to question the safety regulations followed by Indigo and its crew members. With each moment that passed, everyone grew more and more afraid as smoke completely engulfed the cabin. With little help or information coming from the crew, everyone expected the worse. I swear I will think twice before taking an Indigo flight and will also urge everyone to reconsider Indigo. While it can be written off as a stray incident, the reality is that their aircraft have encountered issues in the recent past.

Hi
Your surat service is very bad. We should there 5 hours but no update there, no more information. I decided we can't go next time any more company but can't go with reci go.

Faced a very bad experience on the Indigo Jaipur - Kolkata flight. Everyone on board the Jaipur to Kolkata Indigo 6E-237 flight had a narrow escape with death. The cabin started filling up with smoke, which made breathing difficult. The horrible part was no oxygen masks got deployed down. Adding more to chaos, the crew was falling short of supplying handheld oxygen cylinders to passengers who were finding it difficult to breathe. All the passengers feared for their lives since the smoke kept filling up the cabin. Seeing such a dire incident in the flight, I was constantly praying to God to help us land safe so I could see my parents and grandparents at a family event for which I was travelling to Kolkata. Somehow 30 dreadful minutes passed in flight and as the flight neared the airport, the smoke in the cabin had already swallowed-up all the visibility in the cabin of the Indigo flight and many of us had reconciled to our fate! Now at this time, already some passengers were running out of breath.

Finally, the flight landed but that was not the end of the torturing onboard experience. We were forced to exit in a haphazard manner without proper assistance. Everyone was pushing hard for their lives and now the crew had totally lost the chance to accommodate exit in a safe manner since they were busy on their own. Running down the cabin we came down through the chute in the emergency exit at the back of the aircraft. Due to this I and one of my family members got some bruises and scratches all over the body. I know this was Indigo's new Airbus aircraft but I’m sure this was my last experience flying in it. Goodbye Indigo, friends do not ever think of Indigo again to fly. I would request to refrain flying Indigo if you really value your money, life, and family.

Sir,
I have booked a flight to Goa from Kochi on 04-01-19. Flight no. 6E 977. Which was delayed almost by 8hrs. The flight actual time was 9.40 Am on 4th night and it has been rescheduled to 5.15 AM on 5th morning.

Due to this delay, I have lost the money I spend at Goa for hotel booking for 4th night and most importantly I have lost 8hrs of important time. Hence, I hope, Indigo management will take some serious action not to repeat such a bad situation in future. I have been traveling with my wife. Luckily, we didn't bring our 4yrs old son. But there where lot of families who were traveling with their infants and kids, who suffered a lot.

It is very sorry to tell also that, we all the passengers have seen at the boarding gate (no.7) @ CIAL domestic, a very bad (absurd) management of this delay situation by who ever was responsible here. They have been telling so many absurd lies for all the delays from 9.40 to 11.05PM to 1.40 AM to 5.15AM. This situation have given me a very bad impression on go air flight which I am traveling for the first time. And we have not been given with a proper place to rest from 9.40pm until 5am.

Also, I have selected the direct flight offer at 9.40PM to Goa only because of the other plans I had after landing Goa at 11PM on 4th night as your airline promised.

In order me to look ahead in future for any Indigo flights, definitely, I shall require your serious action and compensation on this flight delay and mis management.

I have send an email already to customer.relations@goindigo.in for their response.

Let's see what shall be the action from the airline management here.

Thank you.

After my latest experience, I’d rather walk to my destination than fly with IndiGo. I can't forget my horrific experience on my Indigo 6E-237 Jaipur-Kolkata flight. Midway through the flight, the whole plane filled up with smoke. Through the smoke and the smell, breathing became difficult. The passengers had a lot of trouble, especially small kids and elderly. But the crew had no answers. What is more alarming, even the oxygen masks didn’t open. Upon spending painful 30-35 minutes, as the flight landed in Kolkata I asked the crew to help me get out from the flight from the crew but they didn't. They didn’t provide any instructions to deboard/how to get out since smoke was completely filled inside the cabin before landing and the rear gates couldn’t be opened due to the smoke.

In the end, emergency exit had to be used. Going forward, I will never think of boarding INDIGO again ever!! We later learned that this is Indigo’s new Airbus plane, which should be a big worry for everyone. If you really value your life stay away from Indigo. I discourage anyone else from flying Indigo. You don’t spend your hard earned money to see a near death flight experience! Do not go for Indigo flights.

Dear sir,
This is bharati i cancelled the indigo air ticket on 11th jan 2019 and claim for refund, i called to customer care number to provide me any mail or message regarding this but they told me that they have forward the massage and mail but till now i have not recievied any thing. regarding this secondly for refund they told me that through NEFT it will be refunded withing working days so i gave my bank details. now can you help regarding this situation or the refund amount will not refunded by indigo airline.

On Dec. 12,18 when I called to cancel her booking I asked the IndiGo agent that if the cancellation is because of sickness can full amount be refunded? He said you have to submit necessary papers for full refund. I am submitting the doctor's certificate. Please take appropriate action and refund the full amount.

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your kind notice the unprofessional and unethical behavior of Indigo Airlines and its staff members which resulted in unwanted monitory loss and mental agony and trauma.

In order to appreciate my grievance, I would like to point out the following relevant details and fact involved in the case:

1. My name is Nikhil Nathaniel (mobile no.7052788378) and I was traveling with my wife Mrs. Vandana Jackson from Goa to Bhopal on 15/02/2019.Therefore, I booked Indigo flight 6E-813 from Goa Dabolim Airport at 14:35 to Mumbai Santa Cruz domestic airport (arrival at 16:05) and thereafter, the connecting Flight of Jet Airways 9W-2895 at 18:40 from Mumbai to Bhopal.

2. When I reached the Goa Airport to board the aforesaid Indigo Flight from Goa to Mumbai, the airport staff did not inform me about any delay in the flight and after sometime I came to know that the flight got delayed for an hour, however, it was eventually delayed for 2 hours for reasons better known to your Airlines. In this regard, I was never informed about any of this information by Indigo staff despite asking the same on several occasions. It may be noted that the weather conditions were perfect but the flight got delayed without sound reason.

3. As a result when I reached Mumbai I missed my connecting flight to Bhopal where I was suppose to attend the important family wedding function. Consequently, I approached your staff members for help and requested them to make some alternate flight arrangements for me and my wife in order to travel to Bhopal but they refused to provide any assistance and were very rude, unprofessional and also used abusive language which insulted me in front of the other passengers. Thereafter, I spoke to the Manager namely, Mr. Shreye who was present at the booking counters regarding the present situation and however, he also did not cooperate with me by citing some strange reasons. In the meanwhile, two flight agents present there approached me and lured me to book another Indigo flight through them on cheap rates. Meanwhile, when I was talking with one of the agent the other agent went to my wife and misbehaved with her verbally and tried to make her afraid about the situation however, she refused to take his help and scolded him. The flight agent was seen talking to the manager Mr. Shreye of your Indigo Airlines regarding our tickets and the present situation which suggests that both were acting in connivance with each other.

4. I am shocked to notice that the Airlines of such repute and stature can act in such unprofessional way to harass its customer and providing no help to their grievances.

5. In view of the forgoing, I hereby call upon you to pay me the sum of Rs.16000 (Rupees Sixteen thousand only) within two weeks towards the cost of two air tickets of the connecting flight for deficiency of services on the part of Indigo Airlines failing which I shall be constrained to take appropriate legal action against your Airlines and the other officers. I request you to act on my complaint swiftly in order to avoid any unpleasant situation.

Best regards,
Nikhil Nathaniel

This was our 23 day of a 34 day trip around the globe. This was our 16th flight so far. We had to leave a wedding early to make our flight. After checking us in and going through my entire luggage asking what everything was from a bronze bowl to a box of tea we were told we had to check our bag. This was the first time in 16 flights we had to check luggage and one of the other flights was an Indigo flight. As we were waiting for our flight we were called to the desk and told we would be transferred to another flight to another connecting city because of a flight delay. Our scheduled arrival was 7 pm and we had an appointment at 9 pm at our destination. Now we would be arriving we were told at 10:30pm meaning that we would miss our appointment. We were offered no choice or any compensation. We ask for at least a meal on flight and were told we had not paid for a meal. We would not have an opportunity to eat until after 10:30 pm so we ask again for a complimentary meal they said we will see. I ask again and was told you will probably get a meal. PROBABLY is best he would do.

We of course got no meal. Our flight arrived late so we didn’t get to our destination until after 11pm. We also noticed that our connecting flight was delayed so other passengers could board whose connecting flight was late just as ours was that they wouldn’t hold our connecting flight for. Nothing to eat, tired and hungry I found my checked luggage damaged. Irreparable damage, as the strap had been broken that enabled me to carry it as a backpack.

They also put my friend’s luggage ticket on my luggage so they wouldn’t actually deal with me but my friend. Very confusing. They offered me less than $3 American dollars because they said it was minor damage because the piece that was broken was small. But with this broken it was no longer able to be used as a backpack and I had 11 more days and 6 more flights to lug this thing around. They then offered me less than $5 American dollars or nothing and gave me this email address to file a complaint. The bag cost me $90.20 and was bought new for this trip on July 22, 2019 and is now useless as a piece of luggage.
We were treated very badly on this trip by Indigo. Could it be because I am a white American?
