Dear Concern,

This is to inform you that I have booked a car dated 31.10.2017 at 12.05 AM from Girish Park metro station to Baguiati to go home after completion the hectic schedule in office.

(Car - Maruti suzuki Swift desire - 4G4000, driver name Guddu kumar Ph no 9007339735)

We have called minimum 7-10 times to the said driver for confirming the location where I am standing but from very beginning the driver was not responding in proper manner (misbehaving).. After long followed up driver Guddu Kumar reached the place to picked me. But after entering the car he suddenly denied to go to Baguiati . I have requested several times to the driver to go to my place - baguiati as in the night I am help less ,lady who is standing alone in the road @ 12:30 AM .. But the said driver was fully Intoxicated & denied to go & misbehaved with me like anything..uses foul , filthy, slang languages. Today I came to know Rs 47.25/- has been charged in my uber account as trip was cancelled by the driver where is no fault from my side.

This is my humble request to you please do not give any duty to this type of driver who has harassed customer very badly & have no responsibility at all , more than that he was intoxicated. Going fwd I will think 100 times before I book a cab from Uber & also share this story with social media / print & suggest others to avoid Uber Cab totally as it is not at -all safe being a lady safety must be the Primary objective which was not at all present with Uber with such type of unhealthy driver.

Also give me back the amount which was deducted by Uber yesterday with no mistake from my part.

Kindly let me know what steps you have taken against this Driver or else I will bound to get this escalated to proper authority.

Hi, on 14th August 2018 between 8 to 9 Pm i was traveling from noida sector 22 to sec 102 Bhangel Noida Cab was booked by one of these No. 8745056286,7982395369 i am sure about the no.

when i reached here in bhangel at my drop point there was little bit traffic, i kept my phone in seat near driver and took off my wallet and gave him a fare cause there was little bit rush suddenly when i gave the fare to the driver he moved the car from there i kept calling him and followed him as well but i couldn't neither he stopped nor he picked up the phone and he took my phone which is really so cheap since that i am trying to contact with Uber but there no any genuine Contact no. i found so far because my all the information were saved in my phone only that's why i could not find the information of driver how cheap it is?

Please Help me to contact with driver with the help of my contact details you must have the record by folowing details:

With due respect, I want to inform you that I am a frequent rider of Uber. In most of the times, while booking an Uber Cab, the expected time to reach the cab is shown between 3 to 4 minutes, but immediately after booking the Cab, the time of arrival of the Cab is being shown more than 10 minutes and sometimes it reaches after 20 minutes. I tried to cancel the booking most of the times, but the message "imposition of partial cancellation charge may be applied" is shown. In case when the Cab is to wait after arrival,wait time charges are applied along with the fare after waiting for more than 5 minutes. If for waiting more than 5 minutes, charges are applied to the rider, why Uber will not pay the rider for excess wait time than the approximate time of arrival as shown before booking ? Value of time must be considered for all the passengers also.

Hope, Uber Authority will look in to the matter failing which, like myself, many passengers will be compelled to avoid Uber Cab & choose other Cab service.

Yesterday morning 9’o clock my daughter booked Uber vehicle from her number to reach Madhanandapuram from my pick up point Ramapuram. It was shown near MIOT hospital while booking & 10 mins to reach pick up location.

Really felt very bad situation with Uber trip at morning. Driver Velan 9841602900 – Tata Indica 0362 informed us to cancel the trip as he was in Saidapet to which we replied him to cancel himself. But the way he replied back to me over phone was with very very worst language and he was continuously scolded with very bad words. It was really very shame to convey to others.

Request you to take necessary action to that driver velan activity & approach. My intention to write this mail is he should not repeat the same to others & it should not repeat with anybody. Hope Uber service will provide safe & comforts to public.

I would like to informing you that "today Morning i have booked the UBER Cab but its not reached at my home and simultaneously he cancelled my trip by himself.

I did face this below problems as follows
1) i went to office with 1 hour late due to sudden cancellation of trip by uber driver
2) due to above i lost 1/2 day salary.
3) I got cancellation charge Rs. 42 , driver was done this stupid thing due to heavy rain .
4) I came by auto ,hired with Rs 200, from home to office.

So, request you to take action on driver or refund cancellation charges Rs.42 which is done by driver without my concern.if you not belive this please communicate this uber mobile no. 8221861807.

Hi, I use uber cabs daily.

This is concerning the cancellation of rides by drivers....it happened with me thrice today (27/2/19).....the driver was barely 100 meters away from the pickup location....he called me...and asked wer the drop location was.....and cancelled the trip......this happened at 8:30 am.....i have a major issue regarding this..

1)Why do they cancel after coming so close to the spot.
2) why doesnt it get displayed in my trip history.....coz wen the customer cancels...not only does it stay there forever there is a fine too which has to be paid in the next trip.
Shudnt something similar be done when the driver cancels it.....
3) Why do they ask what the drop location is in the first place???
Cab services work solely on the fact that they we can reach places where rickshaws or buses dont.

It has happened many times....sometimes 4-5 drivers keep cancelling after knowing the destination. It is sometimes understandable if it is late in the night....but at 9am and 5pm.....its very inconvenient.....i was late for work several times because of it.....i am helpless......because i cant even complain about it as i cannot see the cancelled trip.

This is a sincere request to ATLEAST display the trip cancelled by driver ......and also display that the driver called following which the trip was cancelled (i have the call details of today).....it will help the customers and the employer to notice the frequency of such things happening.

This is to inform you that i have forgot my another mobile in the cab. Kindly guide how will i be able to get the same.

The Cab was booked to T2 Mumbai airport costing Rs.377/-. As I was about to get down after the trip, the driver tells me that for some technical reason the trip is not closing and I should pay cash though I showed him the Paytm blocked amount for the trip. Even in my app the trip was not closed. He assured me that he would ensure I get back my cash if the money gets cut from the Paytm after the trip gets closed. Trusting him and as I was travelling to another state and did not want him to have a loss paid him Rs.380/-. I took down his personal mobile number (Paramjeet, 9022601913) and rushed to check-in. He promised me in case my Paytm is deducted he would ensure it is paid back through the app, which I, unfortunately, trusted in good faith. I could have just walked away saying once the trip gets closed the money will be credited into the UBER account. As I was in the check-in counter just about 5-7 min after he left the trip was closed and the money was deducted from my Paytm. Then itself I suspected foul play that he had cheated me by not closing the trip. Later I called him and told him it has been deducted and he assured me it will be refunded back. Also told me just Paytm the money back to my mobile and the issue is resolved and he said ok. But again I called him in the night once I reached Hyderabad and the call was cut as I was trying to ask him what his action plan was. Now he does not answer my calls at all. It is now confirmed that he cheated me by not closing the trip and insisted I pay cash and also assured me it will be refunded through the UBER app.

'Since this cash transaction was facilitated outside the Uber system, we’re unable to initiate a refund'. - this is definitely not acceptable. I definitely will not accept your Sorry. You need to take action and refund the money back to me. He is your driver, you have his name, personal phone no. and all the other details required to verify and see to it he gives back my money. Either you refund the money into my Paytm account or contact the driver and ask him to return my cash back through any of the means. I am no way at fault and I can't be cheated like this through your driver. Please take action and ensure my money what I have been cheated is refunded back. Tomorrow he could play the same trick with the other customers too. For you it is just a matter of Rs.377/- but I have got cheated in the process. You can't just say Sorry and resolve the issue. Have been your permanent customer for so many years now and I definitely can't be cheated by your driver.

I took a ride on 15/9/2022 from mianwali nagar to connaught place. It showed 208 rs as actual payment fee while the estimated amount was 185 rs. I paid to driver guddu 208 rs through paytm. Then I filed a complaint... Now it is showing that my actual fair was 186 rs.. I didn't get any refund also.. And 208 ts is now shown nowhere.

One of the pathetic experience with the uber was happened today. I had a book Uber for my daughter who was standing at her School at Pitam Pura.
The driver has taken the pickup before leaving his another passenger. After that he was asking for wait for another 10 minutes. There my daughter was waiting eagerly for her pickup but I saw the driver has cancelled the ride after came near school. Even after I specially asked him I have another option if he is not agree to come I will book another cab he said don't worry I will be there after 5-6 minutes.

Is this fine my daughter was waiting eagerly and driver cancelled the ride near her school

Shame on this service and I will never never book any ride or prefer to anyone for Uber.

Today, I booked an Uber from Kempegowda Intl Airport to Mahadevpura. The fare was Rs. 1046. On reaching the destination I paid the fare in cash to the driver. However, on my Uber app the payment is showing up as "Failed" and payment status as "Unpaid". Please reflect the correct payment status on the app and resolve this issue immediately.
