I bought a kenstar mixer grinder 7 months back from a local shop in Noida. It was working fine till recently when it stopped working. It is till under warranty and i hoped to get it repaired easily, but i was wrong. I was told at the service center that to pay for its repair. This is totally not acceptable from Kenstar to cheat its customers and ask money for products under warranty. I feel cheated.

I bought a mixie on 1st Dec 2015 (a month back) from a dealer in Secunderabad. It is heating up badly. Complained to local supplier on 4th Jan 2016. No action taken so far. This is not expected of a company of your standing. Do take some positive action.

I am at Vadodara, I have purchased one 15 ltr. Geyser of Kenstar through Online. I found Auto cut is not working hence I am trying customer care at Phone no- 026539404040, but whenever call default reply is comming 'Pl. Check the number". Kindly advise.

On on July 11th, 2016 we bought Kenstar Food Processor (Serial No. 320612400500200852 and Model No. KFC60W2M-FEP). We have been facing issues with the unit since the time we have bought it. Now we have filed complaint with National Consumer Forum (Docket No. 483828).

Following are the details of the complaints we registered with Kenstar Customer Care since we bought it till date:-

1. Within 4 days of buying it stopped working. Complaint registered (Ref No. GHA1307160127) on July 15th 2016. It's belt was loose and was fixed.

2. Complaint registered (Ref No. GHA2008160436) on Aug. 20th 2016. The shaft of dough kneader and its rotor were changed.

3. Complaint registered (Ref No. GHA1902170067) on Feb. 19th 2017. It's motor and belt were changed. Took 10 days to resolve complaint.

4. Complaint registered (Ref No. GHA0603170014) on March. 06th 2017 some issue with parts.

5. Complaint registered (Ref No. GHA1103170099) on March. 11th 2017 some issue with parts . Took 1 week to resolve complaint.

6. Complaint registered (Ref No. GHA1103170099) on Oct. 24th 2017, again we have been told that belt is to be changed.

We requested change of unit in Aug. 2016 itself but we were told by service engineer that since it is in warranty, we will change parts and still if you face issue then we will change it and that at least 4-5 major issues are required to change the unit.

Now again our food processor has broken down last week. It was not kneading the dough. We filed the complaint with Kenstar Customer Care on 24th Oct 2017. We were told that we will have to pay service charges and for the part that will be changed plus 18% service tax since now our unit is out of warranty to which we agreed. Today i.e. 26th Oct 2017 service engineer came and said belt has to be changed. Service engineer without fixing the problem was asking for service charges. On being asked the phone number and email to file my complaint, service center flatly refused to provide me the same which lead to complaint being registered with National Consumer Forum. Earlier also service engineers have asked for S code without completing the job.

I am sure you will agree that the shaft, its rotor, belt and motor are major parts of any food processor and all these been changed within 8 months since unit has bought is a major area of concern. In past 15 months our unit has broken down 6 time. If by this rate it will break down in future, I think we will be at great loss by paying for motor, belt shaft, rotor etc. etc. again and again along with service charges.

Therefore I request you to please replace our existing faulty unit with a brand new one ASAP without any delay. I bought it to make my mother's life easy but it has been a great cause of distress.

Kenstar equipment's parts and material and service are of very degraded quality.We will never recommend Kenstar products to any one in life ever.

Hi Sir/Madam,

There is a leakage in the tank of my kenstar water heater and due to which, it is getting short regularly. I lodged a complaint on August 7th via complaint no. GHA0708180076. The service centre person visited first time and checked the water heater and went back after saying that he will come back with the spares.

The service centre person visited again somewhere in the third week of August with a tank for replacement purposes. After inspecting the appliance he communicated that tank brought by him is not compatible with the water heater and since the spares are not available it will take time for the replacement.

There is no action taken till date. Please look in to the matter and provide us the replacement as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I decided to buy Kenstar 15L Geyser on October 20, 2016 through online. It started leaking only after a few months. After tortuous efforts, I got the tank replaced on two occasions. Once again, the same problem has cropped up — leaking tank and electric spark. This may cause a big disaster for my family.

This time the service centre in Ahmedabad has refused to do anything, saying the model is old. Even the technician has not visited my place despite repeated requests. Customer care guys show their helplessness in doing anything.

The first complaint was lodged through customer care number 07939404040 on 31.07.18
The second complaint was lodged through customer care number 07939404040 on 23.08.18
The Third complaint was lodged through customer care number 07939404040 on 12.09.18

Despite these complaints technician has not visited my residence once. The last time, when I requested the technician assigned to do the job Anil (Phone no. 7041168441) to do the needful, he said the model is old and he was not getting the required material from the company.This is a clear cut case of violation of warrant rules.

Pls send a technician to my place and get the geyser repaired or replaced.

There is a leakage in the tank of my kenstar water heater and due to which, it is getting short regularly. I lodged a complaint on 4th Dec’ 18 via complaint no. GHA0412180159. I have not received any call or any visit of engineer at my place yet. I have made several calls to customer care (001139404040) but nothing is done and I have also made numerous call to service centre number provided by Customer care (07827364733 & 9350825257) and they are not even answering.

I saw few reviews on your web page wherein Kenstar geysers tanks have been changed several time but problem was not solved, so please come with permanent fix. Please look in to the matter and provide us the replacement as soon as possible.
